Daily Responsibilities For Remote Medical Director
Provide clinical leadership for utilization management, cost containment, and quality improvement programsReview complex or high-level medical cases to ensure services meet medical necessity and regulatory standardsCollaborate with care management, pharmacy, and provider teams to optimize patient outcomes and streamline processesSupport the Chief Medical Director in developing policies, goals, and physician education initiatives to enhance quality and cost-effectivenessParticipate in physician committees, provider network development, and performance improvement effortsAnalyze utilization trends, identify opportunities for efficiency, and guide providers toward evidence-based best practicesRequired Qualifications For Remote Medical Director
Medical Doctor or Doctor of OsteopathyActive New York Medical LicenseBoard Certified through American Board of Internal Medicine, The American Board of Family Medicine or American Board of Emergency MedicineUtilization Management experience and knowledge of quality accreditation standards preferredBenefits For Remote Medical Director
