- Pet Insurance\n\nOverview\n\nUnder the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, the nursing assistant performs various duties in the care and treatment of patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the Medical Center.\n\nResponsibilities\n
- Provides direct care to patients in accordance with their individualized care plans\n
- Assists patient with activities of daily living, including bathing, oral care, dressing, grooming, and toileting\n
- Assist in transportation and transfer of patients, ensuring comfort and safety during movement\n
- Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other patient data, reporting any abnormalities or concerns to nursing team\n

- Assist with patient hygiene and comfort measures, including turning and repositioning patients to prevent pressure ulcers\n

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and promote positive patient outcomes\n
- Completes hourly rounds to assigned patients and anticipates patient needs. Responding promptly to call lights and patient requests\n
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions\n
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including changing bed linens, stocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness of patient rooms, and preparing rooms for admissions and transfers.\n
- Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff\n
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and hospital procedures\n\nQualifications\n
