Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based acute rehab services department Care settings include inpatient, swing-bed, assisted living, and outpatient Patient caseload is highly variable based on census and scheduling Common cases include general medical, CVA, hip fractures, post-op THR / TKR, orthopedic injuries, developmental delay, and sensory issues Pediatric patients are seen in the outpatient setting Expected case mix : 40% acute, 40% outpatient, 10% assisted living, 10% swing bed (all variable) 8-hour day shifts with flexible scheduling options including 4x10 or 5x8 shifts No weekend or holiday coverage currently required Cerner Millennium is used for documentation Role involves providing evaluation and treatment across all patient areas as a generalist Support from 2 COTAs and a collaborative rehab team Department-specific orientation provided at start Dress code requires black scrubs or black collared shirt and khaki pants Requirements Current Occupational Therapist license required if applicable Active BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience Evaluation and treatment skills needed to cover a broad range of patients Illinois OT licensure required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-634324.
