A company is looking for a Medical Customer Service & Collections Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary contact for patient billing inquiries and assist in understanding billing statements
Facilitate communication between patients, the business office, and payors for account resolution
Manage and resolve outstanding balances in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and healthcare systems preferred
Background in a medical billing environment with knowledge of third-party payers and terminology preferred
Bi-lingual in Spanish or Somali is a plus
Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
Strong interpersonal skills are essential
