Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager who will play a pivotal role in expanding and scaling our next-generation cloud services. As a member of the Global Strategic Sourcing Group, you will make strategic decisions that impact supplier cost, technical capabilities, and supply availability, ensuring the delivery of critical hardware to our customers. This role requires a unique blend of business acumen and technical knowledge to drive the best outcomes for Oracle and our clients. The ideal candidate has proven experience sourcing server component hardware, strong supplier relationships, and robust hardware infrastructure expertise. You will develop and communicate strategic sourcing category plans, enabling effective cross-functional alignment. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential, as you will represent Oracle Cloud to senior leaders and executives at key suppliers.

Responsibilities :

• Lead sourcing activities for server component hardware, focusing on external manufacturing partners.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing category plans, aligning with OCI's long-term business and technical objectives.
• Negotiate supplier agreements to secure optimal cost, quality, and supply flexibility, leveraging technical expertise to meet organizational goals.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, identifying and mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions and market volatility.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Legal teams to drive sourcing strategies and resolve challenges.
• Provide clear, persuasive communicationboth written and verbalto internal stakeholders and executive leadership, as well as to senior-level supplier partners.
• Conduct market and supplier analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities and inform strategic decisions for OCI's infrastructure investments.

US : Hiring Range in USD from : $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation. 11 paid holidays; paid sick leave : 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours; paid parental leave; adoption assistance; Employee Stock Purchase Plan; financial planning and group legal; voluntary benefits including auto, homeowner and pet insurance.
