Qualifications and requirements

Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include :

Department / Unit Summary

Oversees departmental operations by developing goals and standards aligned with organizational, clinical, legal, and ethical requirements. Manages patient care delivery, staffing, budgeting, audits, and complaint resolution to meet performance and quality objectives. Leads hiring, training, and staff development while fostering a culture of professional growth. Ensures integration of evidence-based practices and monitors ER metrics to implement improvement strategies. Our Emergency Department (ED) is a 19-bed unit with a 1 : 4 nurse to patient ratio.
