As a member of the Amazon Selling Partner Trust & Store Integrity Science Team, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced machine learning systems that safeguard millions of transactions every day while enhancing our operational efficiency with automation.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Explore and implement state-of-the-art GenAI/LLM/VLM technologies to create highly automated solutions for risk assessment and operational automation.
• Design, develop, and deploy comprehensive machine learning solutions within Amazon's production environment to generate significant business value.
• Experiment and stay updated with the latest machine learning advancements to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

A Day in Your Role:

You'll collaborate within a dynamic and diverse team of scientists driven by a passion for innovation and excellence. Your role will involve working closely with business partners and engineering teams to develop scalable machine learning solutions that solve real-world problems. You will also work to build efficient and automated processes for extensive data analysis, model development, validation, and implementation.

Additionally, you will prepare clear reports detailing your solutions and contribute to a culture of ongoing innovation and knowledge-sharing, which are vital to our team's success.

Basic Qualifications:

• PhD, or a Master's degree with 4+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Strong background in algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, and high-performance computing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading large-scale AI transformation projects and a strong record of publications in prestigious conferences/journals like CVPR, NeuIPS, ICML, ACL, or EMNLP.

The base salary range for this position is as follows: $142,800.00 - $193,200.00 USD annually. Your total compensation package will also include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), with final compensation determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers an extensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
