This Toolmaker position is that of a highly skilled, highly motivated person, who can work closely with the Production and Engineering teams, to develop new products In I.C.O.P. and Baird style transfer presses. This position requires the ability to develop creative solutions, through R&D and collaboration, to get from design to full production. The ability to work in a team environment, while possessing strong communication and troubleshooting skills are required. Work day starts at 3 : 30pm and is 10-12 hours per day depending on the business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain production on a full range of ICOP and Baird style presses as well as auxiliary equipment.
• Work directly with engineering for initial tool design, prototypes, as well as improvements needed for current production tools.
• Ability to train less skilled team members and apprentices.
• Support other development and production teams as required.
• Build and assemble custom tooling, gages, jigs, fixtures, and test equipment.
• Use precision measuring instruments, hand tools, welding, and other shop equipment.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Perform work to meet AS9100, IATF16949 and / or ISO13485 manufacturing standards.
• Additional duties / responsibilities as assigned.
