The facility features a modern OB / GYN department with 8 dedicated OBED beds, state-of-the-art medical imaging equipment, and full laboratory and pharmacy services. As the only maternity transport team in Iowa, this facility plays a crucial role in regional healthcare delivery.

Opportunity : Board Certified - OB / GYN Hospitalist This position offers a unique Locum to Perm opportunity for a qualified OB / GYN Hospitalist to join a respected healthcare team starting January 1, 2026. The ideal candidate will be board certified or truly board eligible with an active Iowa license or IMLC.

Job Details : 24-hour shifts (7a-7a) with approximately 6.5 shifts per month On-call coverage required 24 / 7 during shifts Primarily responsible for OBED patient care including emergency patients (vaginal deliveries and C-sections) Care for patients without primary OBGYN Work with the only maternity transport team in Iowa Manage approximately 1389 OBED visits annually (about 463 resulting in deliveries) Utilize Epic EMR system No supervision of APPs required All inpatient work performed at the medical center (no telehealth)
