Global Business Solutions Consultant

This role may be located in Los Angeles, CA, USA; San Francisco, CA, USA; Toronto, ON, Canada; or New York, NY, USA. Minimum qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working with clients including retail, media and travel in a sales, go-to-market, or other client facing capacity (advertising, account management, consulting, etc.).
  • 3 years of experience in technology sales or working with customers in a sales role.

Preferred qualifications :

  • MBA or advanced professional degree.
  • 3 years of experience working with mobile application and web UX growth strategies as a consultant or in house.
  • Experience with international or multinational digital advertising or marketing campaigns, preferably in a client-facing consulting or advisory background.
  • Experience of thought leadership in applying data driven models that have had a tangible impact on marketing operations across international markets.
  • Experience in communicating and building trusted relationships with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally, including Director and C-level stakeholders.

    The International Growth Team (IGT) supports top, high growth international clients across all of Google's customers (GCS and LCS). IGT's Global Business Solutions (GBS) aims to make international expansion easy for clients by removing critical operational hurdles and building trust in Google as a partner, while growing revenue. Google is well positioned to help, and through GBS we bring our own in-house expertise on business operations, paired with a strong global partner ecosystem, to support companies on their cross-border strategy and operations. We do this by providing insights, thought leadership and solutions to help businesses grow and develop in a global economy. Our programs cover a wide-breadth of operational topics.     The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.     Responsibilities :

  • Identify top opportunities and design and deliver compelling customer experience solutions that drive incremental growth for LCS and GCS clients across key elements of customer experience operational go-to-market (website and checkout audits, usability testing, heat mapping, customer specific competitive analysis).
  • Understand the UX complexities for online sales clients and consult on website localization best practices.
  • Understand the operational issues global businesses face in driving growth through international expansion and develop forward-thinking, data-driven export business recommendations.
  • Develop relationships serving as a trusted consultant with major international customers fueling advertising growth and educating on wider export-related topics and opportunities.
  • Partner with sellers across the international growth team, Google Client Solutions (GCS), Large Customer Sales (LCS), and global cross-functional teams developing and innovating thought leadership and sales narratives to deliver export growth.
