As a Chemical Production Technician, you will be responsible for processing raw materials and chemicals by following a batch record to mix the correct chemicals together to create the final product. This role requires the operation of various machines to measure the amount of raw material to be added into the tank, taking samples for lab quality checks, and lifting large plastic bags using a crane. This is a physical role involving activities like pushing material out of bags using a mixing device, climbing stairs to access tank tops, and operating machines to monitor and control tank levels.

Work EnvironmentThis is a fully on-site position located in a manufacturing facility in Des Moines, Iowa. You will work a 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, with shifts starting between 2 pm to 4 pm, lasting 8 to 10 hours. The role is within a chemical plant, where you'll be exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and biological hazards. The dress code includes uniforms, steel-toed boots, and hair nets, with a requirement to shower after each shift.
