I’m representing a well-established civil engineering and consulting firm that provides comprehensive site development, utilities, transportation, and environmental services. They are seeking a talented Land Development Project Manager (PE) to lead and oversee land development projects from concept through construction completion.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of land development projects, including planning, design, permitting, and construction coordination.
Oversee site grading, roadway and utility design, stormwater management, and erosion control plans.
Lead project teams and coordinate with municipalities, utility providers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, proposals, and scopes of work.
Review technical plans and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
Participate in business development activities, including responding to RFPs and contributing to proposals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one.
5+ years of experience in land development design and project management.
Strong background in site layout, utilities, grading, drainage, and permitting.
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with stormwater modeling tools.
Proven ability to lead project teams, manage budgets, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong client-service mindset.
