Responsibilities Work in the Emergency Department of a short-term acute care hospital Level II Trauma Center environment with a 1 : 3 nurse-to-patient ratio Night shifts, 7p to 7a, with a block schedule (3x12 hours per week) Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks, including Friday and Saturday nights No floating between units, but may be required to float between sister facilities nearby Epic EMR experience is required Expected to provide comprehensive emergency care in a fast-paced trauma setting Solid navy blue scrubs are required for licensed RN staff Commitment to work at least 3 of the 5 listed holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Must complete pre-start online modules, averaging 16 hours, prior to beginning assignment Return staff policy allows returning after 3 months from previous employment at the facility Free employee and visitor parking available First-time travelers are accepted Requirements Active TX or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration At least 1 year of recent ER experience is required Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS Able to work assigned night and weekend shifts as scheduled Compliant background check with no hits on Nursys or background screening Cannot reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility for travel eligibility Must provide two supervisory references from within the last three years covering one year of work in a comparable setting Experience with Epic EMR is required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-615075.
