Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and current ARRT, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certification for an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care hospital cath lab
  • Daily caseload ranges from 8 to 12 cases
  • Procedures include coronary diagnostic and intervention, peripheral diagnostic and intervention, and permanent pacemaker placement
  • Day shifts are 4x10 hours, 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM
  • No weekend shifts required
  • Call is required during the assignment
  • No floating required within the facility
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • First-time travelers will be considered
  • Thirty hours of orientation are provided
  • Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff
  • Returning former employees must have a 3-month separation and live more than 50 miles away
  • Some approved block scheduling is considered
  • Locals are accepted
  • All requested time off must be approved at the time of application
  • Free parking is provided on the first day, with assignment parking provided during orientation

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Current ARRT, Fluoro Permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
  • RCIS is not accepted for this role
  • Open to candidates with pending Fluoro Permit if they have already applied
  • Prior experience with Epic EMR required
  • License required if applicable
