Position Overview :
We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with 5-8 years of experience practicing premises liability and motor vehicle accident in New York to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a motivated litigator who can independently manage a caseload from filing through trial preparation and has strong courtroom experience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
- Conduct depositions, court conferences, and motion arguments
- Develop case strategies and evaluate case value
- Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation / arbitration where appropriate
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely and effective case progression
