Supervisor, ABC Accounting

The Supervisor, ABC Accounting supervises a team that supports the Interstate All Battery Centers in financial matters and helps improve All Battery's financial processes and procedures. These contribute to the department's objectives of providing financial statements, subsequent reporting, and quality audit documentation.

Job Components :

• Assembles and reviews monthly financial statements for the All Battery Center stores and Interstate Owned Territory (IOT) storefronts.
• Supervises a team of 5+ accounting specialists and a staff accountant.
• Supervises and participates in financial, account, and variance analysis.
• Provides feedback on financial statement elements to Regional Managers and Store Managers.
• Participates in and supports transformation efforts in the business.
• Coordinates with All Battery Sr. Advisor / Manager to resolve issues.
• Supervises and provides internal customers with pertinent financial information regarding the Interstate All Battery Centers.
• Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations and submits for approval using external software.
• Creates purchase orders for stores' supplies and other miscellaneous expenses and submits to Accounts Payable.
