Director, Field Reimbursement, US Market Access

This is what you will do :
- Leading, and assessing the performance of, assigned Field Reimbursement Managers (FRM).
- Managing various aspects of Field Reimbursement Manager employment experience.
- Working closely with cross-functional partners to support all project goals and performance metrics pertaining to access and reimbursement of Alexion products.
- Being the primary "coach" for their assigned FRMs in areas such as reimbursement proficiency, collaboration, and managing casework.
- Providing ongoing communication and alignment with cross functional and peer leadership.
- Supporting the FRMs in career growth and professional aspirations.
You will be responsible for :
Ensuring all FRMs are committed to keeping patients at the center of our work.Overseeing the recruitment, evaluation and hiring of the Field Reimbursement Managers.Demonstrating a commitment to field coaching and development of FRMs.Executing national, regional and territory strategic planning.Leading the team in the achievement of goals while ensuring alignment to the corporate strategy and keeping patients first.Monitoring regional metrics, workload and outputs while ensuring compliance with policies and processes.Creating and delivering individual development plans and performance appraisals according to Alexion performance management policies and standards.Providing administrative oversight; including managing the Field Reimbursement Manager's attendance, approving time off, schedules, expense reports, etc.Fully complying with all laws, regulations and Alexion Health Policies, Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines, relevant state and federal laws and regulations.Partnering with Human Resources to help with management of conflict, performance and employee relations on the team, engaging Human Resources when appropriate.You will need to have :
Bachelor's degree is required.Minimum 10 years of pharmaceutical / biotech experience.5+ years leading and managing teams; strong ability to develop field employees along with the ability to lead, mentor, coach and develop the team.A deep understanding of reimbursement processes for commercial and Federal payers, specialty pharmacy, US Market Access landscape, protocols and restrictions.Extensive experience with buy and bill and specialty pharmacy.Solid problem solving, conflict management and project management skillset.Ability to understand and communicate the vision to employees and XF partners.Ability to analyze complex situations to identify root cause and quickly create solutions with a clear direction.Effectively work cross-functionally with a highly collaborative approach with both internal and external stakeholders.Strong budget management capabilities.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Strong business acumen and ability to display high levels of initiative, effort and commitment to successfully complete projects and assignments.Ability to develop and expand relationships with key customers and key stakeholders.Strong process facilitation, problem solving, detail oriented and analytical thinking abilities to make successful business decisions on a day-to-day basis.Demonstrated track record of ability to recruit, retain and develop top talent employees and build highly successful, cohesive teams in a fast-paced environment.Ability to comprehend, communicate and maintain complex technical / reimbursement / medical terminology.Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated technical aptitude, working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Ability to travel 75% of time to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and / or weekend).A valid driver's license and clean driving record.We would prefer for you to have :
