Salary : $22-$30 / HR (depending on experience)

Are you detail-oriented, process-driven, and excited to make an impact in aerospace technology? Join LMS, as a Quality Assurance Technician and play a key role in ensuring the quality and precision of components that help power both commercial and military aircraft.

Located 25 minutes north of Burlington, LMS specializes in designing, developing, and certifying electro-mechanical components in compliance with the rigorous AS9100 standards.

What Youll Do :

In this role, youll be at the heart of quality assurance, ensuring the highest standards through :

  • Testing & Inspection : Conduct Incoming and In-Process testing on detail parts and subassemblies with precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters, specialized equipment).
  • Final Inspection : Perform and document final inspections, including First Article Inspections.
  • Calibration : Ensuring tools are accurate by calibrating precision gauges and equipment.

Key Skills Were Looking For :

  • Process-Oriented : You understand and follow well-defined quality processes.
  • Technical Proficiency : Skilled at reading technical drawings and applying this to inspection tasks with precision. Electronics knowledge and experience is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail : Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Regulatory Knowledge : Familiar with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • What You Bring :

  • Must Have : High school diploma or equivalent, 2-5 years in a manufacturing setting (Quality Assurance experience preferred), strong math skills, and U.S. person.
  • Preferred : Experience in aerospace and defense or regulated industries, training in calibration or electronics, or familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing. Experience with carbon composites is a plus!
