Base pay

$82,000.00 / yr - $98,000.00 / yr

Responsibilities

  • Cover a dedicated assigned territory after comprehensive classroom and field training with qualified sales trainers.
  • Make sales calls to small- and medium-sized businesses across various industries within your territory; schedule and attend in-person meetings with business owners and key decision-makers.
  • Introduce industry-leading supplemental insurance solutions tailored to fit employee needs; work with employees individually and present to employee groups (5 to 100+).
  • Utilize our customized Salesforce CRM to curate leads and grow your professional network within your territory and neighboring communities.
  • Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, or text as needed.
  • Schedule meetings to understand client insurance needs; attend scheduled calls and meetings with your sales manager and team.
  • Develop and nurture your client portfolio; visit new businesses and follow up on referral leads; reservice existing clients.
  • Collaborate with your sales team manager to set and pursue monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Plan and adhere to your weekly schedule; submit your schedule to your sales manager each week.
  • Record daily work stats and sales activity updates at the end of each work day.

  • Additional qualifications

  • Pass a high-level pre-employment background check
  • Active Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Active Health & Life Insurance Producer license in your resident state (or willingness to obtain; study course provided and licensing fees reimbursement available)
  • Bachelor's degree or minimum of 4 years post-high school work experience (candidates within 6 months of degree completion or with relevant sales / athletic background will be considered)
