We are seeking a skilled Material Handler Forklift Operator who can proficiently operate a forklift and other electrical powered devices for moving materials. The ideal candidate should be forklift certified, even if the certification is not current.

Responsibilities :

• Operate forklifts and / or electrical powered devices for moving materials.
• Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Locate and stock received materials, rotating inventory by receipt date following warehouse procedures.
• Lift heavy objects by hand or with appropriate lifting aid devices, and clean the work area.
• Organize and clean the work environment.
• Work under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager and the Material Handler III on continuous improvement projects within the warehouse.
• Label or tag items properly.
• Maintain inventory records and assist in maintaining the Planning and Production Reports.
• Assist in fulfilling Manufacturing Orders and Engineering Change Orders.
• Perform daily cycle count in the stock count module and create cycle counts as issues arise.
• Assist in posting transactions related to inventory, transfers, adjustments, and variances.
• Pull jobs and assist receiving and shipping when needed following warehouse procedures.
• Participate in the completion of the yearly Physical Inventory.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, TN.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
