Material Handler Forklift
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler Forklift Operator who can proficiently operate a forklift and other electrical powered devices for moving materials. The ideal candidate should be forklift certified, even if the certification is not current.
Responsibilities :
- Operate forklifts and / or electrical powered devices for moving materials.
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
- Locate and stock received materials, rotating inventory by receipt date following warehouse procedures.
- Lift heavy objects by hand or with appropriate lifting aid devices, and clean the work area.
- Organize and clean the work environment.
- Work under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager and the Material Handler III on continuous improvement projects within the warehouse.
- Label or tag items properly.
- Maintain inventory records and assist in maintaining the Planning and Production Reports.
- Assist in fulfilling Manufacturing Orders and Engineering Change Orders.
- Perform daily cycle count in the stock count module and create cycle counts as issues arise.
- Assist in posting transactions related to inventory, transfers, adjustments, and variances.
- Pull jobs and assist receiving and shipping when needed following warehouse procedures.
- Participate in the completion of the yearly Physical Inventory.
Essential Skills :
Forklift certification.Ability to operate forklifts and electrical powered devices.One year of experience in Material Handling.Basic computer knowledge.Ability to read and understand English instructions.Basic mathematical skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED.Experience with inspection, hand tools, blueprints, and tape measures.Knowledge of warehouse procedures, loading / unloading, assembly, general production, picking, inventory, and production.Experience with RF scanners.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
