Schedule Details

Shift is 7 / 70. Seven 10-hour days in a row. Wednesday through Tuesday 11 : 00am - 9 : 00pm.

What You Will Do

Plant Operator monitors all central mechanical systems, such as boilers, chillers, HVAC units, water softeners, snow melt, medical gas, plumbing, emergency power systems and associated equipment supporting ProHealth Care buildings. Performs PMs and repairs on selected equipment and building systems, along with the buildings themselves. Monitors building automation system and responds to alarms. Works within the TMS program and dispatches work orders. Assists contractors and other department staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Boiler Operations, Building Systems and Maintenance
• ASOPE - Power Plant Operating Engineer / third class or Facilities Operating Engineer / second class OR NIUPE- Power Engineer / third class preferred
