What You Will Be Doing
Sampling Order Fulfillment
- Deliver exceptional service by meeting and surpassing internal and external customer expectations across all sampling functions
- Cultivate a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, where inefficiencies are eliminated and new ideas thrive
- Maintain pristine, showroom-worthy sample areas that reflect our commitment to excellence and inspire admiration
- Lead agile workforce planningadjusting tasks in real time to match priorities and maximize productivity
- Monitor fulfillment costs (labor and shipping) to balance premium service with operational efficiency
- Drive process enhancements that reduce overhead while elevating service quality
Sampling Receiving
Oversee the strategic movement of overstockrelocating surplus inventory to offsite locations and returning it to our Fairfield, NJ site when neededConfirm that all received items are placed in their correct overstock locations to maintain seamless accessibility and operational flowSample Inventory Control & Distribution Management
Design and implement robust systems and audits to maintain top-tier inventory accuracy at Fairfield, NJTackle the root causes of inventory discrepancies to drive lasting improvementsCollaborate with Manufacturing and Design Production to address major variances swiftly and effectivelyAnticipate space needs and plan around site capacity to keep operations flowing smoothlyCoordinate with Design Production to align vendor shipments with inventory planningRe-rank and reposition sampling items to support optimal distribution and accessibilitySampling Supply Management
Build a resilient supply network by partnering with Procurement to diversify vendor relationships and safeguard against disruptionsForecast supply needs with precisionkeeping operations fully stocked while minimizing excessCreate responsive systems to detect usage spikes and trigger timely replenishmentsAdjust purchasing strategies based on sales and order trends to maintain balance and agilityAct as the central supply hub for remote facilities, ensuring every site receives what it needs, when it needs itLeadership, Coaching, and Management

A minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics, fulfillment, or operations managementPrior exposure to high-volume environments (500+ orders / day) is highly desirableProficiency in ERP, WMS, and shipping platforms to support seamless order flow and inventory accuracyFamiliarity with both local and international shipping processesAdvanced Excel skills for data analysis, forecasting, and performance trackingA collaborative spirit and proven success working cross-functionally to drive communication and project executionExceptional verbal and written communication skillsFluency in English (reading, writing, speaking) is requiredBilingual proficiency (English / Spanish) is a strong plusThe Phillip Jeffries Experience
