Pro Tem Software Developer

A company is looking for a Pro Tem Software Developer / Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and assist in scientific software and data analysis workflows

Translate scientific goals into concrete computer code, primarily using Python and C++

Document code thoroughly and prepare technical reports and user manuals

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, physics, bioinformatics, applied mathematics, or related field

Three years of experience in scientific computer programming

Proficiency in Python and experience with a compiled language such as C++ or Fortran

Ability to work independently and troubleshoot technical problems

Experience in data analysis and numerical simulations is preferred
