Job Description
My client has been in business for over 100 years and is one of Northwest Indiana's most reputable GC's. They complete roughly $300M in annual revenue, specializing in healthcare, commercial, education, and industrial projects. Due to their continue growth, they are looking to add an experienced, self-driven Superintendent to the team.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites; oversee subcontractors, trades, and laborers
- Develop and maintain project timelines; coordinate deliveries, work phases, and inspections to avoid delays
- Ensure work is performed according to project specifications, drawings, and building codes
- Serve as the primary point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients
- Maintain daily logs, track progress, report delays or issues to project managers, and assist with cost control
- Identify and address issues that could impact the project’s timeline, quality, or budget
- Enforce company and OSHA safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections
