Maintenance Supervisor – 1st Shift

Compensation : $70,000–$80,000 base salary + quarterly bonuses + excellent benefits
About the Role
We're seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled team of technicians and ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operation of all plant equipment and systems. This is a first-shift position offering a strong compensation package, quarterly performance bonuses, and outstanding company benefits.
In this role, you'll oversee both mechanical and electrical maintenance activities, coordinate daily work assignments, and play a key part in driving equipment reliability and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise maintenance technicians to complete daily repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance work safely and efficiently.
- Support both mechanical and electrical maintenance activities, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-based systems.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to prioritize and assign work orders.
- Inspect completed maintenance work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain spare parts and tool inventory for maintenance operations.
- Participate in and lead root cause analysis efforts to identify and resolve recurring issues.
- Promote and enforce safety policies, Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedures, and preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure that work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with all company safety standards.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to maintenance staff.
- Participate in after-hours or weekend rotation as needed to support critical maintenance needs.
Qualifications
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Familiarity with PLCs, DCS, or other automated control systems.Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and schedule maintenance work.Proven ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.Demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.J-18808-Ljbffr
