Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience preferred
• Charting system experience required
• Epic experience preferred

Description :

Responsible for caring for labor and delivery, antepartum, mother / baby, and postpartum patients.

Experience in circulating for cesarean sections is required.

Must provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols.

Ability to assist with high-risk deliveries and support lactation.

Knowledge of administering medications and IVs, including magnesium sulfate therapy and insulin drips.

Comfortable performing assessments, such as fetal heart rate monitoring and postpartum evaluations.

Must be familiar with baby-friendly protocols and discharge teaching for parents.

Experience with triaging obstetrical patients is essential.

Skills in newborn assessment and management of neonatal abstinence syndrome are necessary.

Required to work every other weekend.

No floating to other units is required.

Must adhere to all safety protocols, including isolation precautions and PPE usage.

Familiarity with managing postpartum hemorrhage and pregnancy-induced hypertension is expected.

Knowledge of sterile techniques, such as assisting with amniocentesis and circumcision care, is important.

Capable of performing childbirth education and car seat education for parents.
