Off-Road Truck Operator
Responsible for operating a variety of off-road trucks and equipment utilized in aggregates / mining sites.
Requirements :
- Perform daily inspections of the vehicle
- Observe visual and auditory signals during vehicle operation
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor, clean equipment
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Minimum Education and Experience :
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experienceMinimum 1-year previous experience in a role with similar responsibilitiesPhysical Requirements and Conditions :
Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditionsAbility to lift 75 poundsMust be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling machineryWorking Conditions :
The job will require operating large equipment which is typically air conditioned. There will be times when outside assignments may require periods of work in all weather conditions, heat, cold, wet, or dry. May have exposure to dust, sand, gravel, diesel exhaust, etc.
