Website Content Manager

For nearly 60 years, 1928 Jewelry has been a beloved heritage brand, offering timeless jewelry and accessories inspired by vintage design. Our collections are available on our Shopify website, Amazon, and through leading retail partners. We are expanding our online e-commerce presence and are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Website Manager to join our in-house Marketing team. This is a full-time, on-site position ideal for someone eager to grow their skills in e-commerce and website development.

• What You'll Do
• Shopify Website Management and Maintenance
• Update and maintain product listings, photos, descriptions, and pricing
• Organize product collections, homepage banners, and navigation menus
• Assist with theme edits using Shopify's Liquid template language
• Confirm product pages follow consistent design and branding standards
• Ensure all website pages and features remain ADA compliant
• Maintain and manage Shopify integrations including Klaviyo, Uploadery, etc.
• Assist in troubleshooting website bugs, toxic or broken links
• Help implement basic design and layout changes
• Coordinate with external developers including Microsoft Dynamics NAV for website data integrations
• Collaboratively work as part of the e-commerce marketing team focusing on the 1928 website user experience including updating product descriptions, website feature additions and general maintenance
• SEO Support
• Optimize product titles, meta descriptions, image alt tags, and page URLs
• Help implement keyword strategies for improved search engine visibility
• Monitor basic SEO health using tools like Google Search Console
• Analytics & Reporting
• Use Shopify Analytics and Google Analytics to track performance
• Provide weekly and monthly reports on traffic, product views, and conversions
• Suggest improvements based on data and user behavior
• Who You Are
• Associate degree (bachelor’s degree preferred) in marketing, web development, computer science, or related field
• Familiar with Shopify or eager to learn (internships or coursework are a plus)
• Basic understanding of HTML / CSS; interest in learning Liquid
• Curious, organized, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable with digital tools like Excel, Google Analytics, Canva, or similar
• Strong written communication and problem-solving skills
• Bonus : Passion for jewelry, fashion or design
• Familiarity with AI image generation
