We are seeking an experienced Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a 6-day locum tenens assignment in California beginning Dec 17, 2025, with 24-hour call shifts. Job Details Location : California Start Date : Dec 17, 2025 LOA : 6 days Provider Type Needed : Obstetrician / Gynecologist Schedule : 24-hour call shifts; begins at 5 PM on Dec 17, 2025, and ends at 7 AM on Dec 22, 2025 Responsibilities and Duties Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections (with or without vacuum assistance) Manage high-risk deliveries Conduct dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures Provide contraceptive services including Nexplanon and IUD placement Perform routine gynecological exams such as Pap smears and colposcopies Conduct circumcisions and vasectomies Perform LEEP procedures and manage cervical cultures Deliver comprehensive care in a rural medicine and FQHC setting Additional Information Must hold active California medical license Required board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), DEA, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required Experience in rural medicine, high-risk deliveries, and FQHC environments preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
