Pride Health is hiring MRI Technologist to support our client's hospital facility in Springfield, MA 01107 . This is 12 weeks of contract with possible extension.

INFORMATION :

Location : Springfield, MA 01107

Shift Time : NOC (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

Contract : 12 Weeks with possible extension

Guaranteed hours : 36 hours

Locals' Pay range : $77 - $82 / hour

  • Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, and education.

Travel Pay : $3142 / Week for 36 hours

    Duties

  • Identify patients using two approved identifiers.
  • Ensure MRI safety by screening all patients and staff entering the MRI suite.
  • Perform routine, specialty, and emergency MRI scans as per radiologist protocols.
  • Operate MRI scanners (e.g., 1.5T, 3T) and adjust technical parameters for optimal image quality.
  • Position patients accurately and comfortably using coils and positioning devices.
  • Explain MRI procedures and address patient concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
  • Monitor patients during scans and assist with lifting or transferring as needed.
  • Process and transfer images to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).

    • Licensure, Registration, And / or Certification Required :

  • Education : Highschool or GED or equivalent and Must have passed their MRI ARRT boards
  • Licensing / Credentialing : ARRT(MRI) and BLS-AHA
