ICU RN Job Details Location : Brunswick, ME 04011 (Maine ICU travel nursing job) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (10 / 27 / 2025 – 1 / 24 / 2026) Facility Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 11 beds Shift : 12-hour nights, 6 : 45 PM – 7 : 15 AM Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Patient Ratios : 2-3 : 1, based on acuity Electronic Medical Record : Epic EMR On-Call : Downstaff during low census / acuity; staff member is on call Estimated Weekly Pay : $1,990 - $2,130 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – eligible to practice in Maine BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and variable weekends Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Experience with Epic EMR preferred ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a mixed-acuity ICU setting Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate critical care equipment Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital protocols Take the next step in your ICU nursing career with this travel RN job in Brunswick, Maine.
