We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, and dedicated Permanent Associate Attorney to join our prestigious legal firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling various types of litigation cases, with a particular focus on 1st party property damage and civil litigation. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to take the next step in their career. The role offers the opportunity to work on challenging and complex cases, working closely with senior attorneys to develop strategies and deliver results for our clients.
Responsibilities :
1. Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters, including personal injury, 1st party property damage, and civil litigation cases, from inception through to resolution.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
3. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence and arguments in a compelling and persuasive manner.
4. Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
5. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
7. Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates on case progress and legal advice in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Work to strict deadlines, managing time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Qualifications :
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney
3. Membership in good standing with the Florida state bar.
4. Proven experience in managing a diverse caseload and delivering successful outcomes.
5. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to resolve disputes in a fair and effective manner.
7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
8. High level of professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions under pressure.
10. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
