JOB OVERVIEW :
This position is responsible for managing and optimizing inventory to support the national sales force while maintaining appropriate stock levels that enable sales growth. This role ensures accurate inventory tracking, reporting, and distribution to maximize sales performance across all territories.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Optimize company inventory resources
- Providing Sales Management with credible / accurate reports to aid in the management of inventory in each sales region
- Maintaining the consignment inventory that is regularly requested by the sales force
- Coordinate set reconciliations during Sales Rep transitions
- Provide new Sales Reps with the proper inventory needed to best serve their territory
- Analyze consignment inventory usage and sales history of all Sales Reps to determine what inventory may be needed in the field and what inventory should be returned to company
- Collaborate with the Sales Management to provide the necessary inventory for each territory to ensure maximum sales
- Discuss upcoming changes, to current inventory or new inventory that may be nearing its release date with the Materials Manager and Product Management team.
- Present consignment inventory orders to processing and shipping departments in order to ensure that the sales force receives the inventory requested in a timely manner
- Host quarterly meetings to discuss national sales and analyze inventory usage with sales management team
- Conducts inventory reporting of Consignment Sets and Sterile Product
- Provide support to the Operations Manager on tasks and projects as the Operations Manager sees fit
- Organize and / or collect data in relation to daily business operation procedures to assist in evaluation, organization, and / or review of procedure and task flow to streamline efficiency
- Provide support in data collection to other departments when requested per the priority needs of the company
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS :
Strong analytical and mathematical skills; ability to interpret and act on inventory data.Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar ERP / inventory systems.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Demonstrated ability to generate accurate and insightful reports.GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES :
Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to prioritize competing tasks.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Customer service mindset and ability to manage complex issues effectively.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Proven ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.Experience overseeing small to mid-size projects and contributing to cross-functional initiatives.Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.Ability to build productive working relationships across multiple departments and levels.MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE :
Typically 2 to 4 years of related professional experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION :
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

Receive a moderate level of instruction on day-to-day work and detailed instruction and guidance on new projects or assignments.
