Description : Start date is ASAP.

First-timers accepted.

Will be required to float between like units.

Not open to accommodating a block schedule but allows 4x12 upon request.

Local candidates are accepted.

Must include requested time off at the time of submission.

Facility can call off once per two-week pay period.

Type of facility is acute care.

Total staffed beds are 277.

Scrub colors for RNs are royal blue or navy blue.

Scrub colors for Pediatric RNs are pediatric-friendly tops and royal or navy blue bottoms.

Charting system is Epic.

Daily patient age groups include neonates, infants, and pediatrics.

Patient ratios on days, nights, and weekends are 4.

Unit supports interdisciplinary teams such as respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.

Skills required include central line care, feedings management, interpretation, and management of dysrhythmias.

Previous experience in pediatric med-surg is needed.

Nurse to patient ratios are 1 : 4 to 1 : 5.

Recent experience in specialty is required.

References must include a minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of employment within the last three years in a comparable specialty setting.

Travelers may be expected to float between facilities.

Willingness to work two out of three major holidays is necessary.

Housing options need to be considered by travelers as they may be limited.

Modules are non-billable and average 16 hours.

Completion of modules is self-reported and recorded.
