JOB SUMMARY
Assistant to the ROTC Secretary
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify quality and quantity of items investigate discrepancies prepare inventory lists and maintain a thorough knowledge of supply policies and procedures.
- Assist with equipment issue and turn-in to include lifting heavy objects.
Recruiting Assistance
Update social media accounts with relevant content; respond to posts or comments to bring value to user interactions.Perform administrative duties as assigned.Provide general support to the recruiting officer to include interactions with prospective cadets regarding the ROTC program at all events attended by the recruiting officer.FEDERAL WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT
NO Federal Work Study eligibility not required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be an active participant in the ROTC program.Willing and able to lift heavy objects and transport heavy object up and down stairs.Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration.Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with Microsoft applications basic photo-editing and video-editing software and internet browsers.Familiarity with mainstream social medial platforms including but not limited to Facebook Instagram Twitter Google and LinkedIn.Available to attend ROTC training tabling and other cadet / cadre events (within the available work hours).Available to work 17 to 20 hours per week.CONTACT
