Description :

This is a travel RN position in a medical surgical unit.

The unit has 20 beds and a staff of 35.

Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 3 nurses, 1 LPN, and 2 PCTs on the night shift.

Patient ratios are 6 : 1 with LPN assistance.

Typical equipment includes hoyers, air taps, and wound vacs.

The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.

Candidates with experience in wound care and burn care are preferred.

Typical procedures include wound and dressing care for post-operative burn and flap patients.

A team player with a positive attitude is the best fit for this unit.
