The Company

Our client, a leading manufacturer in their industry, is currently searching for a CNC Programmer located in their La Porte, IN facility.

The Opportunity

The Manufacturing Engineer will support the application of machining techniques and quality principles by improving processes for prototype, pre-production and production development. They need someone with great tooling knowledge and who likes to maximize machine output.

Essential Job Functions for the CNC Programmer :

• Primarily using G&M codes and Macro Programming. Must be able to CREATE PROGRAMS to run the machines off Blueprints
• Set up HAAS CNC mills and lathes, including loading raw materials, selecting and installing appropriate cutting tools, and adjusting machine settings to meet product specifications.
• Maximizes the output and efficiency of all CNC machines to process orders as lean as possible.
• Strategically selects tooling to meet the production needs while maintaining or reducing costs
• Strategically schedules jobs for minimum tooling change-over.
