Location : Private School and Church in Nashville, TN.

Compensation : $25 per hour

Position Summary

The Site Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and functional campus environment. This hands-on position supports both day-to-day maintenance and event setup, requiring a dependable, service-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform basic repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment and building / site components.
  • Execute tasks such as wall repairs, painting, pressure washing, changing light bulbs, filter changes, and unclogging toilets.
  • Conduct routine inspections, including fire extinguishers, light tests, emergency lights, lavatories, and plumbing systems.
  • Respond to maintenance requests from building occupants and input data into the work order system.
  • Assist with event setups and respond to customer needs.
  • Support grounds maintenance as required.
  • Collaborate with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.
  • Complete daily digital timesheets and work orders using a web-based program

Schedule

  • 40 hours per week; Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM (including the 30-minute unpaid break)
  • Must be flexible to work occasional nights, weekends, and overtime for special events
  • Requirements :

    Qualifications and Requirements

  • A high school diploma or a GED is required
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in general facility maintenance or related field
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance trades : plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • Basic computer skills (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)
  • Must pass a TBI background check for work on educational campuses
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs intermittently
  • Able to bend, twist, reach, and stand for extended periods
  • Commitment to working in a smoke-free environment
