Job description

BT-140 - MySQL Database Administrator

Location : Annapolis Junction, MD (fully on-site, no remote option)

  • MUST HAVE A POLY CLEARANCE TO APPLY. Those without a Poly clearance will not be considered.

Description :

Candidate will be providing MySQL database administration support.

Skills :

  • 10+ years experience administering to, and engineering solutions with, Oracle MySQL.
  • Extensive experience with database design and modeling; as well as, the collection and interpretation of requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation and tuning.
  • Installing and configuring new MySQL servers (5.x and 8.x)
  • Design and development of MySQL stored procedures.
  • Upgrading MySQL databases, both major and minor revisions
  • Administering MySQL account access, backups and table spaces
  • Migrating MySQL databases
  • Monitoring MySQL server performance
  • BS in CS or related course of study, or equivalent year's experience.
  • Must be an independent worker with strong communications skills.
  • Must be COMPTIA Security Plus certified

    • Qualifications :

  • Principal Consultant is a mid-level member of a project team assisting with implementation and testing of individual components of the Oracle product or technology based on guidance from the lead.
  • Assists with the development and configuration of detailed solutions based on requirements.
  • Assists in operations and maintenance of the system.
