Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide evidence-based care in our Cardiac Neuro Telemetry (Med-Tele) Unit . This unit specializes in treating patients with cardiovascular and neurological conditions, including post-CABG, myocardial infarction, chest pain, and other high-acuity diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities :

Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for patients with cardiac and neurological diagnoses.

Interpret telemetry strips and promptly respond to arrhythmias and emergent conditions.

Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and interventions accurately.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans.

Provide patient and family education regarding treatments, medications, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

Current Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must convert to FL license within 90 days).

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.

Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience required.

BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) required.

NIHSS certification required within 30 days of hire.

ASN or Nursing Diploma required (BSN preferred).

Preferred :

Previous experience in telemetry, stepdown, or med / surg telemetry units.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Long-term commitment (this is not a travel contract role).
