Job descriptionStart Date : ASAP End Date : March 31, 2026 Coverage Type : No Call Schedule : Three 13-hour shifts per week (7 : 00am–8 : 00pm or 7 : 00pm–8 : 00am) - Includes nights, weekends, and holidays Setting : Inpatient – HVI Critical Care Unit EMR : Cerner Privileges : Required (no IMLC accepted) Estimated Credentialing : 60–90 days Patient Volumes : 8–12 per shift Beds in Department : 30 Trauma Level : I Support Staff : 2 APPs Board Certified NP or PA in Critical Care / Intensivist specialty Active Pennsylvania license (IMLC not accepted) ACLS, BLS Minimum 2 years’ critical care cardiac ICU experience Expertise managing VA / VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant patients Clean background for privileging Daily rounding, admissions, patient management, order entry, post-op care Procedures : Arterial lines - Central lines - Swan-Ganz catheter - IABP removal - Advanced cardiac device management : ECMO (VA / VV), Impella, LVAD Intensivist-guided ICU practice Rates : Facility is accepting bids Malpractice : Provided Travel : Reimbursed
