Job description

Overnight Housekeeping & Guest Services Team Member

Join the Planet Fitness team in Medina, OH as an Overnight Housekeeping & Guest Services team member! In this role, you will ensure a clean, welcoming environment for our members during the night shift while providing exceptional guest services. If you are detail-oriented and passionate about fitness, we want you on our team!

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain cleanliness of gym facilities, including locker rooms, fitness areas, and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and guests, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Perform nightly cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Restock supplies in locker rooms and public areas to ensure member satisfaction.
  • Monitor the facility for safety and security, reporting any issues to management.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to keep the gym in top condition.
  • Engage with members to create a positive and friendly atmosphere.
  • Support team members in achieving overall cleanliness and guest service goals.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in housekeeping or customer service is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently during overnight hours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse members.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
  • and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability for overnight shifts and weekends.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment preferred.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for fitness and wellness.
  • Applicant must be at least 18 years old to apply.
