Job description

Job Title : Test Technician 1, Instruments

Location : Sparks, MD

Duration : 12 months

Shift : Monday Friday, Day Shift

Job Summary :

  • Responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting medical instruments.
  • Ensures performance standards are met and supports quality and process improvements.

Key Duties :

  • Assemble and test moderately complex instruments
  • Analyze test results and troubleshoot failures
  • Suggest performance improvements
  • Read technical drawings and follow work instructions
  • Train team members when needed
  • Maintain clean and safe work area
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Planning teams
  • Follow safety, quality, and GMP procedures
  • Qualifications :
  • Education : AA in Mechatronics or 5 years' experience in troubleshooting

    • Skills :

  • Basic mechanical / electrical troubleshooting
  • Good with tools and measurements
  • Strong math, computer, and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with leadership potential
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changes
