Position Overview :

As the Lead Host, you will play a crucial role in the guest experience, ensuring that every guest receives a warm welcome and exceptional service. You will oversee the hosting team, manage guest reservations, and address any concerns or requests to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Guest Reception : Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Team Leadership : Supervise and train the host team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service.
  • Reservations Management : Handle guest reservations, manage the seating chart, and address any scheduling conflicts or changes.
  • Guest Relations : Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and effectively, striving to exceed their expectations.
  • Coordination : Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient guest service.
  • Problem Solving : Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise, ensuring that all guests leave with a positive experience.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : At least 2 years  in a hosting or customer service role, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team and handle high-pressure situations with grace. Must have experience with Resy or Opentable, and Toast POS.
  • Organization : Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Adaptability : Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations with a positive attitude.
  • Appearance : Professional demeanor and appearance, with a commitment to upholding company standards.
