IT / Cloud Strategic Sourcing Manager

Location : This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The IT / Cloud Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for leading IT sourcing initiatives with a focus on cloud, AI, and procurement transformation. This role supports enterprise tech projects, cloud migrations, and innovation-driven sourcing efforts. The Strategic Sourcing Manager is also responsible for the execution and implementation of traditional, less complex sub-category sourcing strategies and ad-hoc sourcing.

How you will make an impact :

  • Lead sourcing and negotiations for IT categories (cloud, software, infrastructure).
  • Manage contracting for cloud and AI vendors (e.g., GCP, Oracle, Codeium, Glean, HippocraticAI).
  • Support enterprise initiatives (e.g., CarelonRx, tech innovation, cloud marketplace optimization).
  • Drive Procurement’s AI-led transformation, including iCertis CLM and Spark Prompt Library.
  • Conduct training, provide guidance to peers, and support process improvements.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align sourcing with business goals and ensure compliance.
  • Deliver cost savings through competitive sourcing and vendor management.
  • Design and develop data capturing and reporting approaches as well as identifying possible areas of opportunity for expense management improvement.
  • Define current workflow, performance metrics, relationships among commodities and processes.
  • Execute standardized strategic sourcing processes for assigned sub-categories.
  • Monitor, track, and report supplier compliance and performance benefits.

Minimum Requirements :

Requires a BA / BS; 8 years of experience in sourcing / supplier selection with at least 6 years’ experience with negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences :

  • MBA preferred.
  • CPM preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT sourcing / procurement strongly preferred.
  • Experience with cloud, AI, and strategic sourcing negotiations strongly preferred.
  • Experience with cloud platforms Azure, AWS, and / or Google Cloud strongly preferred.
  • Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT and / or Spark strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools like Ariba, iCertis, and contract lifecycle processes preferred.
  • Healthcare or enterprise tech sourcing experience is a plus.

  • range for this specific position is $106,304 to $173,952.
