Telemetry RN Job Details Location : Salem, MA 01970 (Greater Boston area – Massachusetts nursing jobs) Unit : Pingree 5 – Medical Surgical Telemetry Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 14 / 2025 – End : 3 / 14 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), every other weekend required Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 Patient Ratio : 4-5 patients per Registered Nurse Charting System : EPIC EMR Floating : Required as needed to other hospital units Rotating Shifts : May be required to cover open night shifts Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 3 years of recent telemetry nursing experience (Telemetry RN experience required) Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Proficiency in reading and interpreting cardiac telemetry strips Experience with adult medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced clinical setting Completion of all required onboarding exams and health screenings Telemetry RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality patient care to adults on a medical telemetry unit Monitor, assess, and interpret cardiac telemetry strips accurately Document all patient care activities using the EPIC electronic medical record system Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes Float to other nursing units as needed and adapt to rotating shifts Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and clinical standards Discover rewarding travel nursing opportunities in Massachusetts!
