Here at McMahon's Best-One, we are committed to our customers, the services we provide, our local community and to our fantastic employees.  Currently, we are looking for a Recruiting Specialist to join our team.

The Recruiting Specialist for McMahons Best-One will source, recruit, and screen potential employees for specific positions within the company.

Essential Functions include, but not limited to :

  • Meet with hiring manager to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the position(s).
  • Communicate daily with the hiring manager on the status of each open position.
  • Organize and attend job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities in Indiana and Ohio.
  • Place job ads on professional networking platforms, job boards, and social media channels.
  • Develop new and creative recruiting ideas.
  • Utilize Paylocity to manage and monitor unfilled positions effectively.
  • Screen candidates, select qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then participate in the interview with the hiring manager.
  • Discuss with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether the candidate is a good fit; collect feedback if candidate is not a good fit.
  • Effectively communicate job offers to candidates verbally and in writing.
  • Keep a continuous cycle of recruiting to ensure staffing needs can be met in a timely manner.
  • Have the ability to work on several recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.
  • Must be able to travel to locations in Lima and Bryan, Ohio.
  • Physical Demands / Work Environment :

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Skills

  • Education : Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Experience : At least two years of human resources or related experience required.
  • Certifications / Licenses : SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred but not necessary. Must have a valid drivers license and driving record must meet company insurance requirements.
  • Computer : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Paylocity HRIS or related software.

    Compensation details : 25-40 Hourly Wage
