Responsibilities Position is in a short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level 1 trauma designation Work in an MRI unit serving inpatient, outpatient, ER, NICU, and adult ICU populations Evening shifts : 4x10s, 12 : 00 to 22 : 30, with a rotating day off during the week One Saturday per month and one holiday per rotation may be required Floating within the hospital may be required to meet facility needs, but no floating to sister facilities MRI scanners include Siemens Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, Vida EPIC charting experience is required Scrub color requirement is black First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment Travelers may be required to work up to one Saturday per month and cover holidays as assigned Travelers must not have facial hair that interferes with fit testing No more than 7 days of requested time off are allowed during the contract; no time off approved in the first week Permanent employees must wait at least one year before returning as travelers Travelers may stay for up to 18 months, then must take a 3-month break; allied professionals may stay up to 12 months with a 6-month break Parking is available in the CAB SE garage for $68 per month Requirements Current ARRT MR or ARRT R certification is required BLS certification is required Siemens MRI equipment experience is required Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience is required Valid state license required if applicable Ability to work with a variety of patient populations including trauma and critical care settings EPIC EMR experience required Ability to start IVs and knowledge of PACS are preferred Skills in abdominal, pelvis, head / neck, chest, breast, spine, musculoskeletal, cardiac, diffusion, gradient echo, image post-processing, and spectroscopy imaging are preferred Applicants must live at least 75 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-609378.
