• Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce diagnostic body images
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort throughout the process
• Position and immobilize patients on exam table for optimal imaging
• Observe patients during scanning procedures under physician direction
• Review and evaluate computer-generated information to determine image quality
• Assess images for satisfactory diagnostic purposes
• Implement safety measures and protection devices to ensure patient and staff safety
