Are you a field experienced supervisor in underground construction? Do you like being in the field supervising your teams? We are seeking an Underground Construction Superintendent to join an amazing team! The Underground Construction Superintendent will report to the Senior Superintendent to oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and field implementation.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
• Allocate resources for assigned projects
• On-site Supervision of onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
• Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
• Collaborate with safety team and ensure safe workplace best practices

Qualifications :

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Ability to communicate and report effectively

Proven experience as construction manager

In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA

Understanding of underground construction

Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints

Ability to work split shifts on-site, including day and / or night work

Aptitude in math

Problem-solving abilities

Unrestricted physical condition and stamina to be in the field actively supervising teams

Able to track and produce As-Built drawings.
